Evidence first.
Always.

Future Wellnes was founded on a simple conviction: people deserve health information that takes the evidence as seriously as it takes their attention.

Our Mission

Closing the Gap Between
Research and Practice

The distance between what peer-reviewed research shows and what reaches the average reader is enormous — and it's filled, almost entirely, by marketing. Future Wellnes exists to close that gap with editorial rigor.

We were founded in 2018 by a small team of researchers, science writers, and clinicians who shared a frustration with the wellnes media landscape: breathless headlines, cherry-picked studies, and a near-total absence of nuance about evidence quality.

Every article published here cites its sources. Every claim is weighed against the strength of the evidence behind it. When the science is uncertain, we say so. That's the whole model.

What Guides Us

Editorial Principles

01

Evidence Quality, Made Explicit

We distinguish between findings supported by multiple randomized controlled trials and those based on a single observational study. The strength of the evidence is part of the story — not an afterthought.

02

Intellectual Honesty

We say "the research is mixed" when it's mixed. We update articles when new evidence changes the picture. We do not protect prior positions out of consistency for its own sake.

03

No Sponsored Conclusions

We do not accept compensation in exchange for favorable coverage. Any commercial relationships are disclosed in full, separately from our editorial assessment.

04

Readable, Not Reductive

Complex research deserves clear writing — but clarity should never come at the cost of the nuance that makes the findings meaningful in the first place.

Methodology

How We Evaluate Evidence

We weigh evidence using a simple hierarchy: multiple independent randomized controlled trials and meta-analyses sit at the top, followed by single RCTs or consistent cohort studies, with observational or preliminary mechanistic data at the bottom. When an article makes a claim, we try to be explicit about where on this hierarchy the supporting evidence sits.
We may earn affiliate income when readers click certain product links, and we may run display advertising, including through content recommendation networks. These relationships never influence which topics we cover or what conclusions we draw — and any commercial relationship is disclosed separately from the editorial content itself.
Articles are reviewed at least annually, and sooner when significant new research emerges that materially changes the picture on a topic. We do not silently edit published claims — when an article is meaningfully updated, we note the change.
No. Future Wellnes publishes health journalism and research summaries for educational purposes. Nothing here should replace individualized guidance from a licensed healthcare provider. Please see our Disclaimer for full details.
